Introduction

Various studies have shown that stress, lack of exercise, poor nutrition are the biggest risk factors for people's health across the globe. Eating well is a way of addressing and preventing diseases and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) plays a key role.
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is an evidence-based therapy led by a qualified nutritionist. It is an approach to alleviating, managing and even treating certain medical conditions. MNT is offered in hospitals, in an outpatient clinic or as part of a tele-health/digital health program. MNT involves a com- prehensive assessment, nutritional diagnosis and treatment plan.

Considering the facts stated above, we are introducing Dietlogues (Nutrition Consultation), which is Medical Nutrition Therapy through digital platform, where the patients can be advised about nutrition and lifestyle by a team of qualified Nutritionists.

  • To support Doctors by sharing their burden and reducing the patient's time in the Doctor's chamber.
  • To increase the reach of this service to maximum patients who are in need of Medical Nutrition Therapy but have limited resources.
  • To improve patient outcomes by providing value-added service to the Doctors and their patients.

Medical Nutrition Therapy in 3 easy steps

While the name may seem clinical, with the team of Nutritionistist at Dietlogues (Nutrition Consultation), Medical Nutrition Therapy can be provided in three easy steps

Step 1:

One of our trained Nutritionists will perform a digital comprehensive nutrition assessment to determine the patient's current nutritional status and any chronic medical condition after looking at the Doctor's prescription and taking the medical and nutrition history.

Step 2:

The Nutritionist will create a customized plan using evidence-based nutritional guidelines and a customized nutrition plan to optimize the patient's health and well-being.

Step 3:

The Nutritionist will monitor and evaluate the patient's progress, making adjustments as necessary to help manage the health issues every 30 days for up to 2 months.

Process Details

  • The Dietlogues (Nutrition Consultation) will be available from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.
  • It will be available in 12 languages (English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Odia, Punjabi and Assamese).
  • A Toll-free number and QR code will be given for the patients to call and download the mobile application.
  • Every Doctor will be provided a unique code, which will be given to the patient post Doctor's consultation for easy mapping of the patient to the Doctor.
  • Each patient referred by the Doctor will be consulted thrice in the entire program, on Day 1, Day 30 & Day 60. On the recommendation of the Doctor, the service can be extended.
  • Doctor would be able to review the Nutrition plan and progress report of the patient on the mobile app.
